Basically, as the tungsten evaporates, the halogen pushes it back onto the filament. This stops the lamp from turning dark and cloudy, which means it lasts a lot longer. We used the R7s base too, so you can just slide it in and get back to work. It&amp;rsquo;s a straightforward swap for most industrial heaters.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Real-World Use (and a few warnings)&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;You&amp;rsquo;ll usually see these working hard in PET blowing machines or high-speed drying tunnels.
