Power and Size, Sorted
So, we built this 500mm infrared heater for industrial machines that need heat in a tight spot. The 220V, 1000W rating isn’t by accident. It hits that sweet spot: enough punch to warm big surfaces fast, but still easy on your standard control panels and wiring. And that 500mm length? It spreads the heat just right, so you don’t get hot spots on curved parts—think PET blow molds or car body panels.
Built to Take the Heat
This is a halogen lamp, with a quartz envelope. Quartz can handle crazy-high temps and doesn’t crack when things heat up and cool down fast. The halogen cycle is the quiet hero here, keeping the filament stable by putting evaporated tungsten back where it belongs. You get steady output over the life of the lamp. Just remember: it runs hot. Give it room to breathe, and make sure the enclosure can shed that heat.
Where It Shines: PET and Auto Work
In PET machines, it warms preforms and tooling almost instantly, so you can keep cycle times steady. In vehicle work, it’s perfect for localized jobs—paint curing, activating adhesives, even chasing out moisture. And the best part? It’s a straight drop-in for most common industrial infrared heater layouts. You wire it up without reworking the mounting footprint. One thing to keep in mind: because the heat density is high, your machine’s cooling and thermal insulation need to be up to the task.
