We’re talking 2500W of power, running off a 400V circuit. We went with that high voltage for a reason—it gives you all that wattage without needing your machine to be loaded down with heavy copper wiring. And the size? It’s housed in a 300mm quartz tube. We landed on that length because it’s the sweet spot. It gives you a consistent heating zone, but it’s still compact enough to fit right where you need it.

The Good Stuff: How It’s Built to Last

The whole thing is wrapped in a halogen-filled quartz envelope that works in the shortwave infrared spectrum. What does that mean for you? It heats up fast. Seriously fast. Hits the temperature you need in seconds. And when the machine cycles off, it shuts down immediately. No lingering heat. That halogen cycle does more than just speed things up. It keeps the filament stable, which means this lamp simply lasts longer than your standard infrared elements. Then there’s the connector. We use an R7s. It’s a double-ended, linear contact fitting that gives you a solid, high-current connection. The best part? It’s a straight-up, drop-in replacement for most industrial heating fixtures.

Where It Shines (And What to Keep in Mind)

This lamp is the workhorse for jobs like PET blowing, thermoforming, and curing. The shortwave output gets right to the heart of the material, fast. That speeds up your whole cycle. But here’s the thing about all that high-density heat—it comes with a trade-off. Pushing 2500W generates a lot of ambient heat. So, your machine’s cooling system has to be up to the task.
