Let’s talk about our 2000W 353mm Halogen Lamps
If you need to get something hot—and you need it to happen now—these are the lamps for you. We built these 2000W halogen tubes to pack a massive punch into a pretty small 353mm frame. It’s all about focusing that heat into one tight spot so you aren’t wasting time waiting for things to warm up. The heat is intense. At 2000W, we’re talking about a lot of power for a tube this size. The result? You hit your target temperatures in seconds. We use a halogen gas fill inside, which basically stops the tungsten filament from evaporating too fast. It keeps the lamp from burning out when you’re pushing it hard. Just a heads-up: make sure your power supply can handle that first big “gulp” of electricity when you flip the switch. Then there’s the build. We use high-purity quartz glass because, frankly, anything else would warp or melt under these temperatures. Plus, quartz lets the infrared heat fly straight through to your workpiece without getting trapped in the glass. We also kept the connectors standard. You can just pop these into your existing ovens or blow-molding machines without having to rewire your whole shop. You’ll mostly see these in PET bottle blowing or plastic curing lines. They’re perfect for softening polymers quickly without turning the rest of your machine frame into an oven. But here is the catch. Because these things are so powerful, they throw off a ton of ambient heat. If your housing doesn’t have good airflow, you’re going to fry your sensors or melt your wiring. Do yourself a favor and use high-temperature leads. These lamps aren’t for a slow, gentle warm-up. They’re for raw speed and deep thermal penetration. Use them when you need to get the job done fast.
