It runs on 220V at 1000W, which gives you a nice, steady spread of warmth across the whole length. If you’re looking for a simple drop-in replacement for your industrial drying or curing lines, this is the one. The heat is the key here. Because we’re spreading 1000W over nearly a meter, you don’t have to worry about those nasty localized hotspots that can ruin a workpiece. We use shortwave infrared, which is basically a shortcut. Instead of heating up the air first, the energy jumps straight to your material. It’s fast. Really fast. Then there’s the build. We use high-purity quartz for the tube and fill it with a specific halogen gas mix. Why? Because without it, the tungsten filament would just evaporate and gunk up the glass. This “cycle” keeps the tube crystal clear. You won’t see that annoying darkening you get with the cheap heaters you find everywhere. It just lasts longer. Now, a couple of real-world tips. Wiring it up is a breeze since it fits most standard industrial setups. But here’s the thing: 900mm is a long stretch of glass. Quartz is strong, but it’s not indestructible. If your machine vibrates like crazy or your brackets are loose, the tube can snap. And please, check your reflectors. If they’re pitted or dirty, you’re basically throwing away a huge chunk of that 1000W into the chassis instead of onto your product. Keep them polished.
