We use high-purity quartz glass because it can handle the thermal shock without cracking. These lamps use short-wave infrared to get into the PET preform fast. In these machines, that’s usually where things go wrong. We use reinforced terminals that lock right into your existing Sidel wiring. No modifying the machine. No rewiring the oven. Real-world advice
Now, you might be tempted to go with higher wattage lamps to push more heat and speed up your cycle times. You can do that, but there’s a catch.
