Here’s the thing about standard lamps: they waste a ton of energy making visible light. That light doesn’t keep chicks warm—it just stresses them out and jacks up your electric bill. We tweaked the filament alloy and the gas inside the bulb to narrow the focus. Now, more of that energy goes straight into heat and less into light. Built to Last (And Not Melt)
We use high-purity quartz glass because we’re tired of seeing bulbs go cloudy after a few weeks. Plus, we use a halogen process that keeps the filament centered.
